Hibridia, as defined by Paulina Rucco and Staci Barron "is the artistic fusion of two cultures, two hemispheres and two women - where distance is not a barrier to creativity." Hibridia encompasses luxurious Argentine leathers with glass and silver metals, creating individual pieces of "glass fusion" jewellery in various styles of necklaces and bracelets.

Summer 2007 will see Hibridia expand into footwear, summer halter-tops, cell phone holders and personal accessories. Paulina and Staci collaborate regularly, with Staci recently travelling to Argentina to design the new line for 2007. The team is very excited about the new collection of leather accessories after multiple trips to tanneries sourcing only the finest suede’s and leathers.

When not in the same locale, Paulina and Staci utilize technology to allow them to discuss in real-time via email, digital photography and web-cam their ongoing and evolving artistic vision for Hibridia.

Hibridia has created a unique experience not only in the designs that they create but in the idea that collaboration has no barriers.
